Watch is not shiny pink and blue Mother of Pearl as shown in this photo it is more pearly white. First watch I received had sparkles missing in the inner heart but Ashford rectified the problem and sent me a new watch. However when you receive and return watches in Canada you have to pay customs twice. I wish Ashford would ship USPS to fix this problem, Canadians would then not have to pay customs fees. Overall I am happy with the second watch but I had to be specific and say that I did not want a defective watch. I believe that a lot of Ashford watches are defective from the watch companies. This is the second defective watch I have had to send back. I have to say Ashford staff are very friendly and accommodating and now I have a perfect watch.

Incredible watch, especially for this price! Automatic plus manual winding capabilities. The style of the hands is perfect for this watch, very feminine and elegant. The watch's beating beating heart within the heart cutout is very poetic and one of the main selling points for me. The bracelet is solid steel (not folded) and high quality.
Mother of pearl face, 10 tiny diamonds (description says 8), mechanical movement, beautiful design, and quality construction made this a perfect buy (as a gift, but I'm a watch nerd).
Price is best on the net and sales staff is great (the chat pop up actually works here).
All that being said, one should consider that the MOP face is not as colorful as it shows in the picture. It has a range of colors depending on the angle, but mostly it's pearlescent silver. Don't get me wrong, it's great, but the one shown is spectacular. Some may like the more subdued look though.
I like seeing sapphire crystal on watches around this price range and it has low water resistance capabilities (hence the notch down in the "quality" rating, but nitpicking really).
I've read reviews saying the face is large. Well, it's a mechanical so be realistic. If it was smaller, that would take away from the intricate details as well.
Clear case-back is a plus.
All these features at this price is really unheard of. See how much a quality man's mechanical is.
If I was a woman, this is the watch I would get myself, but I'm not so it was a perfect gift.
